![]() ![]() There's a driving mission where you just smack enemy cars over and over again and is very boring, there's a level where infinite enemies come until you kill the chiefs/mini bosses, and the last level is always a ridiculous boss battle. Each movie has five very identical levels and get extremely repetitive. This a welcome change but has many problems. Instead of one hub where you choose the movie and levels from, each movie has it's own hub where you choose that movies levels and find hidden collectible and side missions. One thing I like is that they changed the overall format. WTF?!!!!! The fourth movie which was the weakest one in the series anyway, is dragged out over three parts, adding up to an unnessecary 15 levels and most of them suck anyway. Remember in the temple of doom there was an epic minecart chase and then the intense scene where Indy cuts the bridge? Instead of that, the giant scary statue is possessed or some stupid **** like that, someone throws a chicken leg outside of the temple, this temple that's SUPPOSED to be heavily guarded underground, goes after like bait, and then you have a lame and anticlimactic boss battle with the giant statue. That's where the first problem comes in, every single movie is shoehorned into five short, boring, gimmicky levels and ends with some retarded and absurd boss battle regardless of what happened in the movie. Well these lego games are based off the movies, so it should at least stay true to the source material. The story is terrible, and I know what your thinking, we'll duh it's a lego game. And because you were too lazy to put the fourth movie in the first game EVEN THOUGH IT CAME OUT 2 GODAMN WEEKS AFTER THE MOVIE CAME OUT, so you decided to half assedly shovel it into a unnecessary cash grab sequel. ![]() Okay travellers tales, what happened? Lego Star Wars was good, lego Star Wars II was awesome, lego batman was also awesome, and the first lego Okay travellers tales, what happened? Lego Star Wars was good, lego Star Wars II was awesome, lego batman was also awesome, and the first lego indiana jones was great. Overall, LEGO Indiana Jones 2 is the second best LEGO game I've ever played (Harry Potter Years 5-7 remains the best) and it's definitely worth picking up. The amount of time it takes you to collect the characters and vehicles is big enough but add to that the engaging level creator (it's a shame this didn't return in future games) and the extremely fun co-op and you've got yourself an amazing LEGO game. They each have their own missions and characters to find and collect. ![]() Boxes are essentially their own little hubs. Speaking of the hub world, each episode (there are six Crystal Skull is divided into three in order to give more of a focus on this film) has its own box. It's a large improvement over its predecessor and introduces one of my favorite mechanics: finding characters and fighting them to unlock them instead of simply buying them in the game's hub world.
